Choose your method of payment 

Before obtaining your visitax receipt, it is important to choose your payment method. Tourist Tax Mexico must be paid in order to have an unforgettable stay.

 In fact, the tax authorities have two methods of payment. These are online payment and cash payment.  Both methods of payment are available to all visitors who are at least 4 years old. Adults are also required to pay this tax before or at the end of their stay. It is advisable to pay it before travelling to the locality.

Complete the formalities 

Once you have chosen your method of payment, you must now proceed to complete the formalities. So, to make the payment online, just fill in the online form which should include your names, passport number, email address and age. Payment on a secure page will follow within seconds. 

For cash payment, this is done at the airport. Simply fill in the available form and you will make the payment on the spot. 

Get your payment receipt 

Obtaining your payment receipt is the final step in the visitax payment process. Those who have opted for online payment will receive a confirmation email within 10 minutes and will be able to print the receipt.  However, if you paid in cash, you will receive your payment receipt already printed from the agents on site.
